PROBLEM

GHSP, a tier-one automotive supplier with nearly a century of mechanical engineering expertise, saw the industry shifting rapidly toward mechatronics. To stay ahead of new efficiency and emissions standards, they needed to expand into electronic design and manufacturing—fast—without losing control over quality, timing, or cost.

SOLUTION

Morey partnered with GHSP to co-develop a BLDC-based Smart Actuator platform that maintains critical fluid pressure in drivetrain systems even when the engine is powered off, supporting modern fuel-efficiency strategies.

Working as an extension of GHSP’s team, Morey recommended key PCB design improvements, optimized the vendor strategy, and executed two full revisions of the electronic assembly. This collaboration accelerated PPAP builds, increased production capacity, and brought an automotive-grade electronics platform online without compromising reliability.

OUTCOME

The result is a scalable Smart Actuator platform that helps GHSP meet evolving OEM efficiency requirements while extending their reputation from mechanical strength into electronic innovation—securing their place in the next era of mechatronics.
